Tariffs and ZTL Regulations

The costs of the ZTL pass for tourist buses vary based on:

• Final destination (Historic Centre, Tronchetto, Mainland or Lido)
• Bus environmental class (Electric, Euro 6, Euro 5, Euro 4, Euro 0–3)
• Type of pass (Ordinary, Minibus, School trip, Hotels, Exceptions)

The validity of the passes varies:

• Ordinary passes: valid until 11.59pm on the day of entry
• Pass with exemption: validity reduced to 3 or 10 hours
• Hotel passes: valid until 7pm the following day or the end of the stay (if multi-day)

School Trip Pass

Only for state or accredited public schools. The group must present:

• Letterhead from the school
• Indication of the class and program of the trip
• Original school stamp with signature of the person in charge

Hotel Pass

For buses with passengers accommodated in structures inside the ZTL. You need a booking confirmation document from the accommodation facility.

Exemptions

Some special passes at a reduced or free rate include cases such as:

• e) Mestre Airport/Station (3 hours, single journey)
• f) Port/Airport/Mestre Station (10 hours, multiple trips)
• g-i) Worker transport, tourist connections, public lines (3 hours)
• j) Cultural, sporting events, conferences, demonstrations (until 11.59pm)
• j-bis) Documented school visits to the Mainland (1 day)
• k) Services for residents, ceremonies, workshops (until 11.59pm)
• k-quater) Institutional events (on request via AVM email)

Parking spaces

Boot

• Park Isola Nova del Tronchetto
• Max stop: 1 hour
• Rate: first 30 min free, then €15 (31–60 min)

Fusina

• Fusina Terminal, 500 bus seats available

Access and Payment Procedures

• ZTL passes must be purchased online on the official portal.
• Buses must present themselves directly at the access point or car park, without intermediate check-in if they already have a pass.
• Paper documentation is required for school passes or in derogation.

Check-In Times

• Fusina: Mon–Fri 08:00–15:00; Sat/Sun/Holidays: 08.30–15.00
• Petroli: Every day 06:00–20:30 (for buses from SS14, SS13, SS245 and A4)
