ZTL and Tourist Bus Car Parks: Complete Guide to Fees, Zones and Authorization Procedures
The Municipality of Taormina has established a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) in the historic town centre, with controlled-access mobile barriers at the main entry points. Tourist buses cannot enter or stop within the ZTL: they must mandatorily use the dedicated car parks managed by ASM Taormina – Azienda Servizi Municipalizzati, namely Parcheggio Lumbi (north) and Parcheggio Porta Catania (south). Both car parks are open 24 hours a day.
All fees include the Municipal Ticket established by Council Resolution no. 42 of 25/05/2006, updated by Resolution no. 43 of 31/07/2023: € 40.00 for large buses and € 10.00 for minibuses.

Free shuttle from Lumbi to the town centre: A free shuttle departs from Lumbi car park every 15 minutes (from 6:30) to Piazza San Pancrazio (Porta Messina/Corso Umberto). Last service at 00:55 (Saturdays 01:55).
