Otranto (LE) ā ZTL and Tourist Bus Parking: Complete Guide to Fees, Zones and Authorization Procedures
The Municipality of Otranto has established a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) in the historic town centre, monitored by electronic access gates. Tourist buses cannot access the ZTL and cannot park in standard pay-and-display areas (blue lines): they must mandatorily use the dedicated spaces on Via Orte (after the intersection with Via Calamuri), the only area specifically designated for coaches.
Tourist Bus Parking Fees
The paid parking service is active from 1 April to 31 October, from 08:00 to 02:00 the following morning.

Parking is subject to payment of the fee and display of the ticket issued by the parking meter, clearly visible on the vehicle.

Payment is made via parking meter directly on Via Orte. The parking ticket must be displayed clearly on the vehicle's dashboard.

1. Can tourist buses enter the ZTL in Otranto? No. The historic town centre ZTL is monitored by electronic gates. Tourist buses cannot access it and must use only the dedicated spaces on Via Orte.
2. Where must tourist buses park? Only in the reserved spaces on Via Orte (after the intersection with Via Calamuri). Parking in standard blue-line areas or other parts of the municipality is not permitted.
