Tourist Bus Parking and Check Point: Complete Guide to Fees, Zones and Authorization Procedures
Are you planning a group visit to Maiori by coach? Before accessing the port area, it is mandatory to be aware of the Municipality of Maiori's regulations, which govern the parking and passenger loading/unloading of tourist coaches at the Tourist Port Amphitheatre and the San Francesco roundabout, via prior PEC notification and payment through PagoPA.
Fees and Regulations – Tourist Buses at Maiori Port
The fees approved for the 2025 season are established by Municipal Council Resolution no. 208 of 15 November 2024.

⚠️ Important: only coaches up to 10.36 m in length are permitted to park at the Port Amphitheatre.
Loading/Unloading and Parking Areas
- Tourist Port Amphitheatre — main parking area for coaches (up to 10.36 m), in 30-minute slots, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, by prior reservation
- San Francesco roundabout — short stop exclusively for passenger boarding/alighting, max 20 minutes
Notification and Payment Procedure
- Send a prior notification by PEC to protocollo@pec.comune.maiori.sa.it, stating:
- Planned date and time of access to the Port
- Type of access (parking or short stop only)
- Proof of payment of the applicable fee
- Coach licence plate number(s)
- Make the payment via PagoPA, stating in the payment reference: access date(s), planned time, coach licence plate(s)
- Show the payment receipt to the staff upon arrival at the port

Controls and Penalties
The penalties provided for under art. 7, paragraphs 14-bis et seq. of the Highway Code apply (from € 83 to € 332), increased by the amount of the unpaid fee.
