ZTL Rates and Regulations
Tourist buses bound for Lucca are required to pay an entrance fee.

Note: Subscriptions purchased before 12/13/2024 must be used within 6 months. Those purchased between 12/13/2024 and the entry into force of the new tariffs must be used by March 31, 2025.
Validity and rules of the bus ticket
- Each stamp is valid exclusively for the entire period indicated and made out to the requesting company; it is not transferable or reusable in different periods.
- The bus ticket must be displayed frontally, clearly and visible for the entire stay in the Municipality of Lucca.
- Failure to display or conceal will result in a penalty according to the Highway Code (fine for failure to display the permit).
- In case of violation, in addition to the fine, there is an administrative sanction for forced recovery of the evaded fare up to €130.00 (maximum applicable fare).
- The ticket is valid from the time of arrival until 10:00 am the following day.

Note: After the descent, the bus will have to move to the Palatucci Parking (via delle Tagliate di S. Anna) for extended parking.

Access and Payment Procedures
Online Payment
The service is available every day of the year on the https://ines.luccaplus.it/ar/ portal. To access the services for issuing parking passes and permits for accessing the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) for buses, it is necessary to:
- Register on the portal:https://ines.luccaplus.it/ar/registrazione.php .
- Access your reserved area.
- Use the "Mark" section.
- After payment, proceed to print the ticket to display on the bus, from the "Purchased tickets" section of your reserved area.
Payment on site
The bus reception point is located at the Palatucci car park (via delle Tagliate di S. Anna), open at the following times:
- High season (from 01 April to 31 October): from 09.30 to 16.30 every day.
- Or at the Tourist Information Office of the Municipality of Lucca, in Porta San Donato, Piazzale Verdi, open at the following times:
- High season (from 01 April to 31 October): from 09.30 to 18.30 every day.
- Low season (from 01 November to 31 March): from 09.30 to 16.30 every day.
- 01 January: from 11.30am to 4.30pm.
- 25 and 26 December: closed.
The applicant must present an identity document, the vehicle registration document and company details for the receipt (including VAT number and email address) at the counter.
Concessions and Discounts
Reduced Rates
Based on resolution no. 24 of 10 February 2023, the non-cumulative reduction of 30% on the full rate, upon online request at least 3 days before, is applicable to the following categories:
- School groups (with confirmation from the institution)
- Groups with overnight stay in hotels in the Municipality (voucher confirmed)
- Groups participating in events sponsored by the Municipality (documentation)
- Groups consuming lunch/dinner in establishments administered by the Municipality (voucher confirmed)
Note: The reduction will be applied upon request sent at least three days before arrival (only via the website https://ines.luccaplus.it/ar/). Metro S.r.l. reserves the right to verify the requirements to obtain the 30% reduction and, in case of failure to present the necessary documentation or lack of the requirements, it will apply the full rate.
It is possible to purchase in a single solution a ticket valid for up to a maximum of 7 days which provides for the application of the full fare for the first three days and starting from the fourth day the application of a 30% discount.
