1) ZTL Regulations and Rates for Tourist Buses
- Access to the Località Mercatello ZTL (Civita entrance): Tourist buses cannot access directly to the ZTL. of Località Mercatello, where the entrance to Civita is located. Access is permitted only to specific categories indicated on the vertical signs (e.g. guests of accommodation facilities for loading/unloading baggage, residents, employees of Civita's production activities, etc.).
- Invalid Badges: If there are passengers on board with disabled badges who need to approach the bridge entrance, they will have to accredit themselves independently and free of charge on the website www.ztlbagnoregio.it. This process is the responsibility of the badge holder, not the bus.
Online Accreditation: For any need for transit or special permits (as in the case of invalid passes for access to Mercatello), accreditation takes place via the website www.ztlbagnoregio.it.
- Timescales: The request must be completed before accessing the areas concerned, with the exception of holders of disabled badges who have 72 hours to register.
- Validity: The request is generally daily, unless it concerns extended stays in the city. In this case, you will need to specify the start and end dates of your stay in the "Authorization Request from - to" field.
- Proof of Accreditation: The confirmation email received from the system at the address entered during registration must be shown to the Traffic Agents (Local Police, Traffic Auxiliaries, Carabinieri) if requested. You can show it directly on your smartphone, via a complete screenshot of all the information or with a paper printout.
2) Checkpoints and Parking
Here is where tourist buses must stop and where they can carry out loading/unloading operations.
- Mandatory Parking: Gran Turismo buses are obliged to park exclusively in Piazzale Bersaglieri. This is the only area designated for parking these vehicles.
- Cost of Parking: The ticket costs 40€ per day, valid from 8:00 to 20:00, regardless of the duration of the parking.
- Payment Method: You can pay via the parking meter at the entrance (accepts banknotes – does not give change, coins or cards) or via the EasyPark application.
- Services: Public toilets are available in the parking area. A few meters away you will also find a bank with an ATM and a Conad supermarket.
- Unloading and Loading Passengers: Drivers can unload and load passengers in Piazzale Battaglini.
- Distance: Piazzale Battaglini is located approximately 2 km from the Civita Bridge.
- Stop Duration: The hourly stop at this point is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes.
